According to new study, kid’s sight problem has to do with the hours they spent out door, the data and the results were taken from a study conducted over 10,400 participants, the cases were children and adolescent and the study was about the affect of outdoor time on myopia.

The number of children is increasing every day and it’s now more common to see in many countries, for example the researchers said that there are some parts in Asia which have a percentage of 80% of nearsighted people in it.

According to this the study recommend to spend more hours outdoor looking from distance to things may be an important factor in decreasing this disease.

The team doing the study said that the risk of having myopia is decreased by 2 per cent for each additional hours children or adolescent spend outside, since the children who are Nearsighted spent in the average rate 3.7 fewer time per week outdoors when compared to those who’s sight is stated to be normal or those who are farsighted.

Until now there is no clear reasons for this issue, but it appears to be more safe to increase the time outdoor than spending time in indoor activities like playing computer games or watching TV, and according to a doctor in the team performing the study, he said that it’s considered simple and cost-effective that have greats benefits on vision and general health too to increase your time out door but still need more precise data, for this future studies will be so helpful to tell us about the effective factors to do such as, making the distance vision larger, having less time of near sight vision, , natural ultra violet light exposure or physical activity.

For people who have nearsightedness, if increasing outdoor time would it be helpful to stop nearsightedness from becoming worst?

The doctor performing the study said that, there was a study conducted in china for two years long on 80 nearsighted child in the age of 7-11 years old, half of them had to spend more 14 hours per week outdoor and less than 30 hours on near work, and by the end of the study, the children who had more time outdoor were less nearsighted on average than the 40 control group children who did not follow the special schedule.

This is what the Norwegian Institute of Public Health has stated in its first report from the National Register of Adverse Effects from Cosmetic Products.

We a buyers can have a better overview about the product from the register, this overview presents products which may cause adverse effects, the type of the adverse effect, and even tells about the people who had experienced them, then according to this we can do managing method in which we can decide what products to be used.

As a result within the first two years 96 notification has been delivered to the Register, and in most of these notifications people spook about product as moisturizers, cleansers, sunscreens and hair coloring products.

A definition of cosmetics product

Hair dyeing… why is it considered dangerous

The permanent (oxidative) hair dyeing products is the type of products which showed the most serious reaction, as it had the highest percentage of notification which was given to Register within the first two years, these notifications where given from seven people who stated adverse effects of an allergic nature.

Symptoms such as eczema, redness, blistering, and itching of the scalp, face and throat, was reported to usually show on people who develop allergies to hair dye, other symptoms are have severe swelling on the forehead and around the eyes, if these symptoms is likely to appear they usually start to appear one or two days after having the colored and go up to weak and sometimes to months.

A new study made in the university of Kentucky showed that smoking women in Kentucky have increased risks of experiencing chronic musculoskeletal pain, as surveys showed that 6,000 women over 18 have smoking habit and symptoms of chronic pain, the study showed that women who smoke or had smoked in the past and now is quitted, has an increased risk of having one chronic pain syndrome at least, these syndrome are fibromyalgia, sciatica, chronic neck pain, chronic back pain, joint pain, chronic head pain, nerve problems, and pain all over the body.

The risk increase percentage for former smoker is 20% according to the study, and increases in women who occasionally smoke to 68% and the percentage of risk for regular smoker is stunning as it crosses the 100% to be 104%.

A researcher in the team was wondering if it is really that smoking cause chronic pain or women now are addicted to smokes as a coping mechanism for experiencing chronic pain, the acute pain works in a way that perhaps female smokers have acute pain that develops into chronic pain due to damage that happened in their normal protection and mechanisms because of smoking, this explains why the acute pain is called “protective response”.

As a result Dr. Leslie Crofford, director of the Center for the Advancement of Women’s Health and co-author of the study said that it is important to find the relation between smoking, quitting smoking, , psychopathology, and the control of chronic pain.

The studies also showed that there is a relation concerns the response to the dose between the classification of the smoker and chronic pain as the patients who have these chronic pain have a great chance of getting benefits out of stop smoking and any suggested additional treatment to their pain, also there is a large possibility that good chronic pain treatment could manage to help smokers in quitting smokes, but more researches are still required.

This study was done by the Kentucky Women’s Health Registry, the center says that the subscription in the center is available for women ages 18-89, the center is open for inquires to an individual’s health, demographic, and socioeconomic status, also the center states that up until this moment almost 15,000 Kentucky women joined the center but the center aims to have 25,000 member in the future.

New researches is now releasing a new factors that must be checked in the list of factors required for transplantation surgery beside blood, tissue type and organ size. This factor is the circadian clock.

Previous studies talked about the importance of the time when the surgery is performed stating that it can affect the result of this surgery, while this study is the first of its kind to link between transplantation success and circadian clocks, this study was tested on mice with dysfunctional internal clocks.

The study implemented on mice by the GHSU researchers showed that the arteries of mice with circadian clock dysfunction usually change in their thickness and became thicker and also becoming diseased just weeks after the transplant surgery is implemented on these mice when they were healthy, however, the arteries which has transplanted from healthy mice remain healthy.

Researchers said that the blood vessel diseases are important in the transplant, as you must know the condition of the donor and the time you take the organ to transplant out of the human, since it may not come to mind that he is having a bad clock that may certainly lead to organ failure and rejection that’s why it’s really important to do the transplantation during the best time for the organ.

For Circadian Clock to be chosen in best time, doctors must know that its impact is not only on sleeping, however, it affects not only the brain but also all other parts of the body, due to this researches now can check the circadian clock through blood vessel to be sure about it.

In the time researcher could know about expression of gene in their studies but in humans there is no way to find it out this way but they can only determine it by monitoring the donor for signs of dysfunction such as a sleep disorder or even aberrant behaviors that can impair healthy clocks, such as shift work, but researches will start to discover new ways.

Also these studies showed that the clock can be affected by other factors other than sleeping like eating high fats and also having certain diseases, as a study released in 2009 showed that mice with mutated or missing clock genes has more risk of developing vascular disease just as people who have blood pressure problems and smokers.

Erectile sexual dysfunction (ED) is defined as the inability to have a man to achieve and / or maintain an erection adequate enough to achieve satisfactory sexual activity. The frequency of DSE is significantly higher in the diabetic population when compared with the general population. The aim of this paper is to review of the literature ED and diabetes mellitus (DM), and it includes the following: anatomy of the penis, clinical-physiological aspects and pathogenic mechanisms.

Different studies indicate that the prevalence of DSE in people with diabetes between 20 and 80%, although this varies depending on the age of the patients. In subjects aged 20 to 29 years, its prevalence is 9%, and increases up to 90% in those who reach age 70. The SD is classified according to their causes into three groups: 1) organic, 2) psychogenic and 3) mixed.

Among the most important pathogenic factors cited neurologists, vascular and muscle, among others. The relaxation of the smooth muscle of the corpora cavernosa and penile erection depends on a complex balance between intracellular events and extracellular signals that control the contraction and relaxation of the tone of smooth muscle cells of the corpora cavernosa. Hemodynamic and electrophysiological measurements allow an accurate assessment of sexual function. The therapeutic management requires close monitoring and maintenance of blood glucose. The DSE is a common complication in people with DM. Its etiology is usually due to multifactorial causes. It requires developing clinical-epidemiological representative population sample, to know precisely the magnitude of this problem. Early identification and appropriate treatment determined a significant improvement in quality of life of these people.

Keywords: sexual dysfunction, diabetes mellitus, diabetic neuropathy.

Erectile sexual dysfunction (ED) is a medical condition that is defined as the inability to achieve and / or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual activity. The term DSE define more precisely the nature of the sexual dysfunction than impotencia1 Obviously there is no doubt that the ED, for its social impact is a major cause of decreased quality of life in men with diabetes mellitus.

Its frequency is significantly higher in the diabetic population when compared with the general population. The DSE is associated with increased age-4 ,2 poor metabolic control, 4 to a longer history of DM, 4.5 to smoking, 6 alcohol consumption, 7 depression, 8 to use some fármacos9 and microvascular complications of DM, 10 among others.

It is suggested that the prevalence of moderate to complete DSE is a 20-85% .10 The Massachusetts study on aging masculino11 ED communicates a frequency of 50% in the population 40-70 years of age. However, the emergence of DSE in diabetic men is earlier and its prevalence is also higher, so it can reach up to 75%. It has been reported that the DSE can be present in more than 50% of diabetics within 10 years following the diagnosis of DM, and may even be present at the debut clínico.12 Its frequency in patients between 23 and 29 years is 9%, and increases to 90% when it reaches 70 years.12 currently estimated to exist in the world between 100-150 million people affected by ED, and is expected to increase by 2025 of 322 million.13, 14 These approaches show that the ED is a health problem, which requires the development of programs for prevention and treatment.

The purpose of this paper is to review literature on this subject, and insist on the anatomy of the penis, general clinical aspects and pathogenesis.
